FUNDRAISING NEWS! Sunday 14th March 2010: A good day for PhanGan Animal Care as Mark Purdy completed the Silverstone half marathon in a very respectable time of 1 hour 56 mins. It was a gruelling run, leaving Mark with a very swollen knee, hardly able to walk and needing a day off work the following day! He is now on the mend but still feeling the effects of the 13.5 miles. It was all worth it though as so far Mark has raised a fantastic £700 (approx 35,000 baht) in sponsorship money to be donated to PhanGan Animal Care, Thailand (PAC). This money will go a long way to help the stray animals on the island. A big thank you to Mark for his amazing efforts from all of Koh Phan Gan's stray animals! 18th April 2010: Another great day for PAC due to the brilliant fundraising efforts of Alex Chapple-Hyam who cut off her dreadlocks and raised a huge £500 (24,000 baht) in sponsorship from the many people supporting her.
